Anne Breda has a passion for teaching and sharing the benefits of yoga with others. Her teaching emphasizes precise alignment, attention to breath, and therapeutic sequencing. In addition, she teaches guided meditation. Her aim is to offer personal attention, to provide a space for her students to explore, understand, and integrate the mind/body connection through the cultivation of presence and awareness, and to encourage self-transformation and healing through the experience of yoga.
Anne completed her 200-hour certification under the mentorship of Natasha Rizopoulos, with whom she also earned her 300-hour certification, at Down Under Yoga. She particularly enjoys teaching beginners, as well as those with injuries. Her classes are deliberately slow-paced to encourage mindfulness, and are informed by knowledge she has gained through the academic study of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
